As per the Brahmana Sampradaya the Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, and Devi are important deities for regular performance of Hindu Rituals followed by many festivals as the Aryans also brought with them a new pantheon of Gods and new religious beliefs that revolved around nature and the environment. Deities were personified by the sky, sun, earth, fire, light, wind, water, and rain. Brahma, the most powerful deity, was the creator of the universe.
